This VARIO Silent System has been developed by C. Bechstein to enable players to have the best of both worlds - acoustic and digital.
When you activate the VARIO, the hammers stop just short of the strings so the instrument produces no acoustic sound... hence the name 'Silent System'. You can then plug in your headphones and keep playing at any time of the day without disturbing anyone.
This innovative system is made in Germany. It not only stands out for its optimum dynamics, elegant design and user-friendliness, but also perfectly renders the player’s touch.
The VARIO app
The VARIO app gives you easy access to all the controls of the digital system. You can adjust reverb, key sensitivity, and store your favourite sounds to your personal taste.
In addition, you can connect to music apps on your smartphone, notebook or tablet via a Bluetooth or USB-C connection.
A simple hardware interface, followed by an updatable app, will keep your VARIO up to date for years to come. For more info visit:
